BSG:
Razor was on tonight, and that was mostly the
focus of my evening.
Soviet
News: Garry Kasparov, former world chess champion
and Russian political opposition leader was jailed
today for participating in a protest rally in
Moscow. Great Britain has issued an extradition
request for Andrei Lugovoi over the murder of
Alexander Litvinenko, the request was rejected.
President Vladimir Putin said he would assume
the role of Prime Minister, and that a President
that he can work as a team with should be elected.
Critics of the Kremlin fear Russia is on the verge
of a one party system.

It's
c0ld out there, but luckily I stayed indoors today.
It's the day after Thanksgiving, and the first
day of the Christmas holiday shopping season.
For Thanksgiving Dad and I went to Brad and Ashley's
to eat- Mom stayed in town with Grandma.

I
got nothing accomplished really this weekend.
Played the GameCube some, watched TV... that's
pretty much it.

Friday,
it was a good day. I figured out how to format
16:9 video files onto a video DVD on my Linux
system; I also got the new Sage server up and
running.

Friday
Bob, Teresa and I went to see American Gangster....
Oiy... Don't go see American Gangster! In short
it was about a black man that became one of America's
most powerful, gangsters- but there was really
nothing short about this movie. It started right
after work, and we didn't get out until 8pm.
Teresa
and I finished watching BSG and now we're waiting
for the new special episode that will air on the
24th. I got a Nintendo GameCube this week, which
has provided a lot of entertainment.
It's
been a very junky time for the stock market, so
far this month I've lost over a $1000, and now
I'm below what I put in again- Meh. I enrolled
in differed compensation this week, hopefully
that will do better.
I
always see parts of large wind turbines headed
north on highway 75, and I think it'd be nifty
to go see a wind farm sometime. Kansas currently
ranks 12th in the nation for wind energy.

President
Musharraf has enacted martial law in Pakistan,
the constitution has been suspended, their supreme
court disbanded, international news broadcasts
have been jammed, and lawyers, journalists and
political activists have been jailed.
Hayden
Panettiere, the cheerleader in Heroes, recently
came back from Japan where she protested the slaughter
of dolphins. I have a lot of respect for what
she did, and I wish this story would get more
attention, and that pressure would be put on Japan
to stop dolphin culling's.
Jesse
returns to work tomorrow! It's been over two weeks
since he went off to Hawaii, and probably everything
has broken while he was gone.
